I absolutely have, night and day difference from working at nissan for 6 years vs toyota for 6 years. Its a brand I wanna retire with thats for sure. Great knowledge by the way, you can be a huge help to the guys here. IT looks like you bought your truck using the VSPP Program huh. It is an unbelieveable program, one of the benefits of being a Toyota employee lol.

Hey Letsgoplaces, i've been lurking for a couple months and i dig what you do in this forum. I'm planning on leasing a TRD DCSB Sport soonish, can you give me an idea what the residual for 36 months would be on this model? vin-3TMCZ5AN7GM006394

    Thanks!

@Letsgoplaces, what part was false? My reply was directed at @heftyFj40's comment to check with TFS for residual numbers since I'm in Vegas. And yes I got the residuals from the dealer's invoice sheet, which was posted above for 7543A and 7545A.

Anyway, good score on the 84% residual on the THREE year lease @heftyFj40. I didn't bother to fact check with SET dealers.

Maybe I do and maybe I don't know the answer to this question, but here goes: I was at one of my local dealerships to discuss the '16. They gave me an offer sheet on a TRD Sport, but it didn't have the Premium & Tech Package (minus JBL), so I passed. They located another one that had the P&TP (-JBL), but it had some other stuff (tonneau, etc.) that I didn't want. Anyway, they gave me lease numbers on both vehicles.
My question is this, on both offer sheets the VIN was the exact same but the pricing info was different. Was it possible that this was just a simple oversight/innocent error, or was there some tomfoolery present? I'm inclined to say it was just an "oops" moment. Can anyone that works for Toyota shed a little light on this?

My truck is being built so the VIN is supposedly going to change. Approx residual on DCSBORJBL with 38350 sticker? I used 82% as a guesstimate for sample calcs.

Anyone know current money factors in SET for tier 1+?

All signs (Edmunds, letsgoplaces, qthuynh) point toward 82% being the TWO YEAR residual; 3-year still maxes out at 74%, depending on configuration. Hefty's lease was either a 2-yr lease or someone in his finance office messed up the paperwork. I don't doubt that he got invoice pricing, which is the other half of his great deal.

There is no situation where TFS would underwrite a lease that effectively makes them pay 84% for a 3-year old truck.

You asked for standard. .0009 is a incentivized money factor.

I'm not sure I know what that means... A "special/sale"?

Correct, a vehicle that does not have a special lease rate uses the standard Toyota rent factor/money factor.

@Letsgoplaces So the VIN info you just gave me was for a Tundra. The above query was about that VIN. Thoughts on the above query and the fact that they gave me a Tundra VIN?

We leased a Sienna a year ago, MF was below 0.5%. TFS uses low MF as an incentive for lower-demand products; BMW uses high residuals, Big 3 put cash on the hood, etc.
