What's up all I'm brand new to the forum. Got a 2007 TRD PreRunner as my first vehicle (FTW) and I'm interested in making some changes. Definitely gonna black out the valence, as well as white out the chrome in the front. Need to repaint my skid, and I'll probably dip my decals as well. Any other ideas? Wanted to add black accents on my stock 16s. I'll take any recommendations![IMG]

Just looked them up-definitely a good investment.
You have a favorite bed cover? Not sure if I want a hard, maybe a tri fold? Thanks for the replies!

Congrats on your new truck man, start off inexpensive then work up. My first mods were the hose clamp mod and fishing pole holder mod. Then I moved from that to weather techs, then to new rims, and now to a bull bar (hopefully)...

But don't forget to do you. I have my truck made in a way most people wouldn't like, but that I truly and honestly love. I hope you do the same to yours.

And finally welcome to the toyota family.

Fishing pole holder mod? I have to check that one out. My rods are too long for my SB.

To the OP: dipping the badges sounds good. That or debadge altogether, which is free!

As far as bed covers, I like my Bak Roll-X. That's part of the reason for the Pop n lock. My bed has a relatively secure locking cover. Not cheep but you do not have to remove it to carry tall items and you can see out the back window when its rolled up.

Thanks everyone! Yup I plan on Plasti dipping a few things. And anyone have a tri fold cover that you like? And yeah I like the nerf bars!

Do the cheap/free mods first. Save for the expensive ones so that
    1. You do it right the first time with no regrets and
    2. You don't pay with credit and end up with debt

Pop n lock goes inside the tailgate. Doesn't replace the factory handle. I should say electronic pop n lock.

I got mine directly from pop & lock website. I got the electronic one with coded key option so I could use my truck key. And yes it did replace my handel outside, works with back up camera on my 2015 just fine.
