We will find out soon enough.

In general it means the side bolsters will be leather and the inserts (the middle parts of the seat) will be something else.

I don't see Toyota making a 'premium' vehicle out of the Tacoma, but it looks like they're trying to get us to believe that.

Unless the Tacoma looses market share, I don't see much happening in terms of generational leaps forward.

I assume the yearly updates are already planned. Led lights, full leather seats, hood struts, homelink (trickle down), etc...

Check to see if the dealership has a fully qualified inventory manager. Some don't, and have to contact a regional rep to go into the inventory system to play with allocations. An inventory manager can get right into the allocation and build system and put a build-able configuration together that might not otherwise have even been built. If 10 people want a particularly loaded TRD OR but only 3 are going to a region, 7 people are screwed. However, an inventory manager can put in a build request for that configuration just for you, mark it sold, and all those other dealerships can't see it to steal it.

So what's up with the duneboarding shown in some of the pictures in the brochure? I had no idea that was a thing but looks awesome. Do they just take a snowboard and ride it on dunes? Quite frankly I wouldn't have expected that to work and seems like it'd need to be a bit stronger.

Edit: I googled it and found out it's actually called sandboarding.

So, I have to apologize about shit talking the dealer. I called the dealer last night to say he I got some friends who are ordering exactly what they want can you do that for me. He tells me he was just talking about me the other day. So then he puts me on the phone with another guy who is the official order guy. So I tell him my story and he tells me he already did it. I said what... He says, Jim told me what you wanted and I just changed one of the allocations that was coming in to what you wanted. He looked in the computer and read back what I wanted DC OR tech/premium towing in blue. I was floored. I then asked him if I could change the color and he said maybe and changed it. He told me to call back in a couple of days to see if it kept the change. I wanted blue and inferno so either way I will be happy. Build date of 10/10.
    OHHH YEAH!!!!

we used to do that all the time as kids. had huge dunes where I grew up and we used to take sheets of hardboard, wax them and tear down the dunes. fun but packs a whole lotta sand in uncomfortable places when you wipe out.
randomly just found a Youtube video of someone doing it on the same dunes where I grew up!

I was at a dealer looking the new 16's prior to deciding I was going to purchase. I was f.....ing with the salesman about Tacomas needing wireless charging and push button start. He was....yeah that would be pretty cool Avalon has had it a few years...camry XLE just got it in 2015 so it may be a few years before Tacoma gets it. I said REALLY.....my 2010 Camry has push button start.....he said hmmmm....must be after market.....LMFAO at this point......he said do you have it here......so I showed it to him......he said looks professional, almost factory quality....I decided to play a little more I made my way toward a blue special edition camry(blue seats)....I made the comment "Man that car is sharp Blue accents in the seats would really set it off from the usual"....OMG HE BIT....We can get any color seat you want
