    Torched off the factory cab mounts and made some new ones out of scrap 3/16" I had laying around.

    Hard to believe the frame is narrower than the taco frame.

    You might want some kind of gusset there since the taco frame is designed for shorter mounts.

    The picture is probably a little deceiving. These mounts are less than 3" longer than the stock taco ones. These are already beefer and closer in than the dodge mounts so they will hold a little taco body just fine.

    At around 180k i started hearing a clunk in the drive train when coming up to a stop. All this time I thought I had damaged the transmission somehow.

    As it turns out it must have been spring wrap because with the new Deavers the sound is completely gone.

    That was my first thought, but the less than 4mph turn squeals got me confused. Wouldn't it squeal above 4 mph too? My locker wouldn't disengage the other day before I hit page mentioned and I could hear the tires sliding on the pavement when I turned. So I re-engaged the locker button, backed up, disengaged, pulled forward and it clicked off.
