Great weekend guys and gals!

Drinks were had, guts were puked, lives were spared, and trucks were totaled. only in AZTW :headbang:

great meeting some awesome new people and hanging with old friends! Thanks to everyone who shared their food, guns, ammo, anything.. love this damn community.

thanks to Jeepers for the awesome RTT lighting mod! Cant wait to see how the overhead/worklights come out :spy:

of course.. SO glad both Brian and Ryan are ok and it was just the trucks that were lost! That was by far the craziest thing I have ever heard/experienced. Glad everyone stepped up and took care of everything.

Brian, I have your two water containers.

Ryan, Lyd is gonna email you everything she got that day.

awesome trip! cant wait for future shenanigans!

Made it home about 4, had the truck washed, all gear is packed away. Only took a handful of pics, of course not as many as I would have liked to take.

I had a great time with everyone and want to say thanks to everyone for making it such an awesome trip!

I do have a new outlook on life.

As far as what tw family can do, be on the look out for a good deal on a taco.

Thanks goes out to you all. You helped make a bad situation for me go to worse. Your jokes yesterday made the situation better. Also, thanks for getting my stuff.

    Jon, thanks for the breakfast.

I hope you guys ate some of my food as I couldn't take the cooler.

I will get my stuff replaced.

Holy crap.....you guys got damn lucky! To walk away from that.... speechless.

Was there any warning? Lots of bad weather? High winds? Or just crack and crash?

it was dead silent. first sounded like a gun shot. I though someone was messin with another tree or branch. then it started growing, getting louder and louder, it must have went on for a few solid seconds. then crash. I've never heard anything like it before. It was the creepiest sound.

I cant imagine what you were going through Brian.. not seeing or knowing what the FUCK just happened.. lol

Freaky...probably the only two guys there who were glad they didn't have RTT's!!

I was in a bad wind storm last month and it was scary as hell. Lots of trees around me and I heard a few cracking and falling down (sounded like someone ripping several pieces of paper very slowly) thankfully nothing too close to my camp. I didn't get much sleep that night... Counted 11 trees down on the road on the way back out (about 15 miles) so I figure there were probably dozens of others down too.

Jesus I would have anxiety all night... shit I think we all did that next night. This morning had some breeze, so we could hear the wind in the trees and I could just not go back to sleep. makes me think twice..

At first I thought you guys were messing with my tent when it was collapsing. I hid my face with my hands. Then I heard you guys saying, "Brian are you ok?" Next it was someone saying, "Brian look at your truck." I opened my window and was in shock when I saw it.

I'm not going to lie, but I cried a little bit this morning. I've had that truck since it had 32 miles on it. It's been mine for almost 9.5 years. 157k miles full of adventures and happiness. It's been to Indiana and back. So many places in that truck. It will be sad to see it go away in a few days.

I haven't had my 4runner for nearly as long, but I'd be really upset if I lost it. But you lived somehow and that branch had just the right bend to keep you alive. Trucks can be replaced man and you'll make new memories in another!

You all fought to mention the feeling when that massive thing hit the ground, it was like T Rex stomping down the canyon.

Thank you all for a memorable first experience with AZTW, definitely felt a sense of family with everyone working together making sure no one was hurt and recovering the rigs.

Someone looked up the statistics, you are 2 time more likely to get hit by lightning than have a tree fall on you, that was a one in million chance to be able to witness an act of nature of that sorts, I will remember this weekend for many years to come.

It was nice to meet you all, thanks everyone for being so welcoming, and glad the event transpired the way it did, that was the best possible outcome for what happened, everyone was OK! I look forward to seeing how the next trip will top this one!
