I actually heard that also, that Chrysler is in negotiations with Toyota to use their (Chrysler) Hemi Motors, it benefits Chrysler because of their financial problems...

My 2010 dc is doing the same thing with the downshifting so I will be heading to the dealership today and also to inquire about the 4 leaf pack to be replaced. I'll post what happens after I return from the dealership.

Present the proof and the OP won't get bashed. It's that simple. Otherwise, what else would you expect.

Well mine only does it when in 'D', not when i have the stick on 'Neutral'.:D I'm just beeing a smart ass. I know what you mean.

I felt the same way when i first had the truck. I'm used to it now and i actually like it. I hate that you can't coast like you said but all you have to do is keep your foot on the throttle as lightly as possible and it will coast. Once you let go of the throttle completely, it will usually start braking with the engine. The only aspect i don't like about it is that the tranny shifts a lot and in the long run, i'd rather replace brakes rather than a tranny.

Just replace your tranny fluid a little more often. It's recommended you replace it every 15k if you do anything other than "normal" driving, which would make me due. I think I'll do tranny and diffs at my next oil change.

While not for our trucks I found another TSB for Camry's and Solara's under the title Enhancement to Shifting Performance & Smoothness. So there may be some truth to this.
