I clay barred my truck. First time clay barring anything. It feels smooth like factory, now I have to work on the scratches, then polish then wax. Gonna work on the bumper, tires and wheels too. Think its the first time this truck has ever been detailed. Glad the weather down here in Texas is still nice. Do other TW members clay their trucks, if so how often? What about wax?

What kind of ARB valve is that?and what size fuel line did you use? I bought some 1/4" but I had a hard time getting it on the breather union parts.

I've have had all my emblems in bleach for 5 days, changing it twice a day. Looks like they will be totally chrome-less tomorrow night, and ready to paint.

I spent the day getting clean. Engine bay wash, undercarriage wash, body wash, clay bar and wax. Took me about 3 hours, but I only do this about two to three times a year. Oh and a helpful hint for you guys: if car wax is applied appropriately on the front windshield, it actually woks better than rain-x to repel water and keep it clean. Emphasis on "appropriately". Make sure the surface is not hot (I waited for the sun to go down), unless you want streaks on your windshield that are a pain in the ass to get rid of.

Can I use your picture for my post? Did the same to mine, only used a floor jack for my assistant. Put a heavy duty rubber floor mat on the jack pad to prevent it from slipping around - worked great.

Oven cleaner also works well to remove the chrome and will not harm the plastic. It also works much faster. I used Easy-Off on my headlight bezels before I painted them. (BHLM)

Sure thing!:p Used the jack as well but needed the extra hands to try to get it to line up with the mid skids. Good idea with the rubber mat

Finished and installed my retrofit and replaced my factory 08 chrome grill with a color matched 2011 sport grill.

Definitely bright (500 lumens) and waterproof and shockproof. The light is designed for the underside of off road vehicles so it can take a beating. The switch I liked because it was low profile and waterproof. However, I'm not sure it will last so I am looking for a better option now. Here's the link to the light: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013QLMFA2?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s01
