Welp I posted on the FB page, but here is how my install went:

I used an mini-fuse tap to add a circuit for the illumination of the button while lights were on.

Here's where I went through the firewall (on the bottom).

Wired the light bar with quick disconnect spade connectors to match the relay harness.

Used some self-tapping sheet metal screws, and some washers to mount the 36" piece of angle iron.

Mounted the lightbar using the supplied hardware and some nylon washers to bring it forward in the valance.

Light bar on, parking lights on.

Light bar on, parking lights off.

Parking lights on, light bar off.

    Both off.

Gotta look REALLY close to see any idea of how i mounted it and modified the valance to make it fit. All I did was cut out the mesh and cut a notch out for the mounting points.

    Very happy with the result!

I don't think I could've had it mounted any more perfectly. Exactly what I envisioned.

    What do you guys think?

    Thanks!

Yes i had it painted when my truck was hit in the parking lot at work and ripped off the front bumper. Love it!

Thanks, between the skid, grill, painted valance and light bar I think it makes my truck look a lot newer from the front end.

I used Rigid Industries. Purchased off Amazon for like $65. Easy install.

30" Ebay light that works great so far. Did a little bit of fabrication on my own mounts since nobody makes them for the 2016 yet. Relay wire kit with separate push button switch was a simple installation.

If you are using the rigid mounts, the passenger side holes may need to be widened. I have a 2014. Not sure if that makes a difference. Just have a bit that you'll be able to widen the holes if needed.

Finally got it installed. I had to put the insert in and then the light. Took me about 15 minutes to tighten the nuts.

I still have to run the wires. I want a different switch. Kind of Colbyrainey

Just playing around. Ran the wires to get an idea what it'd look like.

image.jpg just finished up today. Turned out great! Super easy install, mounted it with a piece of angle on the reinforcement bar. Gave it a very clean and flush look. Thanks for the idea.

hold up!! the insert comes off?? how??

I have mine mounted in my lower valence as well, behind the insert, on the crash bar and was wondering if this is aimed too low? its a 21000 Lumen 30" double row 5W Led bar from @memario1214 GB from last year. No other lights are turned on.

It can be taken off when the bumper is removed. There are 5 clips, I think. I actually tore the 3 right below the light off, in the picture, without knowing they were there.

I got mine wired up but every time I hit the light, it blows the fuse. Any thoughts?
I had it working and then I put the inside of the truck back together...now it blows the fuse.

It has a relay, can I just run the power straight to the battery? I used an add a fuse to the interior fuse panel. I used ignition 2.
