Thanks guys, that means a lot. His normal doctor is not doing the procedure so it's strange to see him like this. He's always been a very big, strong guy and right now he's pretty scared.

I pulled out my son's plastic sled and dusted it off

Hahahaha Pulled my toboggan out ! Let me rephrase that Anyone else start getting there SNOWMOBILE ready for winter!

 

Nah. My Elan doesn't need any prepping for the season. I'll pull it out of the shed, pour some gas into the carb and it'll start 3rd pull. Same thing every year. Smokes like a bastard while it burns off the fogging oil I spray into the cylinders in the spring, but after that it starts first pull for the rest of the year.

 

Elan's are great!

 

I should probably start getting my snowblower ready to go....normally just plug the extension cord into it and hold the button until it fires up right at the first snow storm lol. Still have to do an oil change and keep meaning to get to it, but it happens the same way every year. Have all the motivation in the world, and finally end up doing it mid January when my guilt gets the better part of me.

I like mine. It'll break trail through anything, and if you do manage to get it stuck you can pick the rear end up and toss it over into fresh snow. Not a speed machine, though. If I was in to touring it'd be the WRONG machine, haha!
