I wouldnt even care if it was used and 2015. As long as it was still great shape and low miles (less than 10k) id be okay with that.

 

I agree with ya but was thinking on my last trip to the woods how nice it would be to have one & not worry about if rains on our stuff. Just put it on for trips, a soft topper would be even better for just trips.

I liked a cap when I had it. Nice dry and secure storage for whatever I needed.

Had camper shells on my trucks for a while, my '80, '98, '00 all had shells, I have expensive mtn bikes, and sometimes tools, etc...
With the shell I feel a little more secure than with an open bed/rack system

Well as much as I want to get the pickup, i think I'm gonna hold off and save some cash up. Though about over night and this morning...I really don't want to take a loan for that. Kinda stupid honestly. So, I'll have to see what's out there when the time comes when I have cash saved up

 

plus better have anohter $2-$4K saved up for parts when they start breaking or falling off. Smart move to wait imo, if you have to get a loan for $1K you can't afford to get a loan to fix it later.

Exactly, i hate to pass it up....again, for the 3rd time. But I'm not going to dig myself any deeper. As much as I want that solid axle and the places I could take it with my buddies on the panhandle here....I'd prefer to use cash lol

 

or get the loan later once you have all the cash....just more credit history for you
make some payments and pay it off later.

 

So my battery was dead dead this morning. Like couldn't even unlock the doors dead, no door chime either. This was with a new battery from the store.

I'm planning on picking up a voltometer to check for a parasitic draw after class but am looking for ideas to what may be the cause.

Only things I have hooked up that can run with the truck off are duallys and a CB radio hooked to a blue sea.

I started a thread a few weeks ago documenting the things I have done. Pulled the fuses from duallys and CB and things like that.

 

Only sitting overnight?
