looks like fun. RCers are gonna get fat with this whole self-righting thing then again, my truggy conversion had enough torque/tire mass to do that, and it was quite nice

looks like someone is finally trying to fill the 1/5 scale monster truck market that Losi and HPI haven't entered into yet.

 

That thing is cool enough, though personally I more inclined to go smaller. I like true 1:10 scale. Even the Yeti is getting on the large side for my taste. I find it is easier to find and create challenging terrain .

 

yah... the Yeti is really beefy and feels bigger than 10th scale...

changed the body on mine...

 

I like what you did there Mike. I have been eyeing that Yeti too. This R/C thing is a lot of fun.

 

Got a,pretty bad ass crawler right now as,well as a xxx-sct stadium truck and a stampede and losi mino crawler for my boy. Lots of fun.

 

I'm going to try my hand at converting a slot car to RC. Anybody else done this?

Has anybody here converted a nitro Savage S25 into a brushless model?

 

Think I might pick up a Savage X 4.6 soon and give nitro a try.

 

Nitro is fun, loved mine for the noise and smell and just the badassness of having an internal combustion engine on a model. Mine still runs fine but the tuning is a major pita with the altitude, among other things.

 

Well, I'm about to.
If you all are interested, I'll post up pics of the kit I found and how it turns out. The company is local to Colorado and it's the first time I've heard of them. He has lots of kits for the 1/8, 1/10, and 1/5th scale bashers.
