    Meh it can be. When I'd drive to west Texas I'd leave it on. Can catch some good conversations and info from truckers and most of the time they'd talk about any dps on the road too :spy:

    ^This. It is just second nature for me, but it can be beneficial if there is a traffic accident as you will hear about it before you get there, letting you plan an alternate route. What happens when you breakdown where you have limited cell phone signal? A cb can come in handy, trust me.
