    Damn that sucks! My son had his last round of 6 month shots last month. I got the bill this month. $275!!!! Called BCBS and they said they no longer cover immunizations.. WTF?!?! So i called the health department the other day and they said i could come there and get his 1 year shots and further on for A LOT less.. and a 4 minute eye exam on him was $300 no coverage from my insurance because they didnt deem it necessary... but he has one pupil that is bigger than the other so we wanted to make sure he was ok...

    Hmmm.....something sounds super fishy there. Immunizations are considered preventative care and should be covered under ALL health insurance plans at 100%. Thats part of Obamacare. All preventative care is to be covered at 100%.

    Hell yeah I would too, it may have been the code that they used to bill it. They may have used the code for injection instead of the code for immunization. If that doesn't work, then find your policy coverages, and see if it shows preventative covered at 100% (it should), if that doesn't work, then consider filing a grievance with the Dept of Health and Human Services against your insurance company for not following the law. Even my insurance with a $1500 deductible of which I've met 0 for this year, even covered all my immunizations from Hep B to Influenza.

    Thanks ill give it a shot. The Dr office said that due to the new "Scare" of it possibly causing Autism they may have not been covering it so they are going to try and file it a different way. so we will see. it just sucks i have to work hard to get something i pay $400 a month for.



    Anyway sorry everyone for hijacking the christmas wish list haha..


    Hmmm can i add better healthcare for working americans and and better pay for FF, EMS, Police, and Uniformed men and women...

    I would just like to point out that this is one of my favorite reasons for being on this site. Second year i've done this and expecting another awesome time.

    As others have said it's not about who can spend the most or who gets the flashiest gift. I've got a little bit more to give this year so why not?

    That said anything related to waterfowl hunting would be awesome. I'd love a new headlamp as mine is a little older and not as bright anymore. Anything goofy or fun truck related is always a blast. Anything really is fun. I'm really just here to make somebodies day a little brighter :cheers:
