I do have a soft spot for the old machines. We used to have 2 old John Deeres, a '79 440 Trailfire and a '73 400. The wouldn't win any races but they were fun and light. The '79 had a fairly wide cleated track, that thing was a tank. The 400 was sort of a POS, we bought it for $100 and it constantly needed work.

    Lol.
I'm from Maine. If we don't have potatoes at all times something's wrong, haha!

My parents have an old Alpine dual track. THAT thing is a tank. The places it can go...makes my Elan look like a trail sled.

On an unrelated topic, one of the local dealers got a blue access cab '16 TRDOR in stock over the weekend. Stopped and looked at it Saturday night and it looks sharp. I actually like how they look in person. Still not crazy about that electric shaver grill, but I visualized it black and thought it'd look pretty sweet.

Someone one here has already removed and painted his grill black on his 3rd gen. It looks so much better!

My first sled was a '75 Skidoo TNT 340. Cool little machine.
Weighed in at about 250# so when it got stuck, you can one hand it out.
The last Polaris I owned weighed twice as much.

The only time I was on a snowmobile I flipped it and as I was rolling I cranked the throttle and pulled myself into a tree.

I still kinda want one. It was my cousin's 1976 Arctic Cat Panther. I think it's long since gone at this point.

I want the snow bike kit for the dirt bike. It's a $5k kit though, haha. Might be a little steep for my cheap bike.
