    I think camping that spot in the middle where the old structures are would be cool but that takes anyone that isn't 4x4 out of the mix.

    He is referring to the dunes, not Superstition mountains. There are some trails that way but most of that area is prohibited

    I too have been talking about going back soon, if not this fall than come spring I would love to spend several weekends there. That has got to be one of the most beautiful canyons in arizona

    It dune-ish but has desert too. Its just past the dunes on the California side. Should be the first or second weekend in January

    CK doesn't compare to Rug Road and its closed now. Coke ovens is close with wheeling but now has trail cameras. I'm sure there are many more spots we just need to hunt them.
