I know this topic has been beat to death, but I needed some insight.

I had wheelers AAL and 5100's installed a week ago, and love it, but now I have a slight "driveline vibration" as it is referred to whenever I take off from a dead stop. It happens between 8MPH-12MPH. Ive read that rear shims will help? Also is it an issue that needs to be attended to ASAP? Can I roll around for a few weeks with any permanent implications?

if it matters I have 5100's w/ eibach 112-620 springs upfront. I had installed first a few weeks ago, but never had any vibrations.

Thanks for all that info @ffdawson @SCRunner12 @JLee

Seeing Jerry wheel in Moab with Jordan in the back seat of his excab taco at least lets me know it's possible to still use it as a family crawler. I'm leaning more towards prerunner with a shell. Yes I do have a "bed" in my 1st gen but it has bed bars/rack/spare tire carrier in bed, along with shocks and bumps coming through the bed it's only really useful as a camping rig now. I think I've made up my mind, DCSB prerunner with camper shell, and have my wife get rid of her civic for a 4th gen 4x4 4Runner :) best of both.

Jimmy is a little smaller than me and might be okay in a DC. But I don't find the room to be good for my car seat. It's adequate, but I have to bring the passenger seat so far forward that for 6'+ passengers can't ride comfortably up front.

If the T4R is roomier then I'd definitely go that direction personally, unless you need a truck bed.

FWIW, car seats shouldn't have any contact whatsoever with the seat backs of the front seats. You should at minimum have enough space to slide your hand between the seat back and the car seat. If not, you pretty much just striked through all of the designed car accident safety features of the car seat.

Mine has been that way for over 20k miles I wouldn't worry about it. If it drives you crazy there is a good thread on driveline vibes solved search it lots of reading and lots of mixed results.

I had that same low speed vibe at 15-20. I bought the carrier drop spacer and the vibe is gone.

If you went over two inches of lift in the rear then I would get one. It will help prolong the life of your carrier bearing.

Hmm.. I have a CB drop but never installed it since I don't have any vibes but an extremely minor and usually unnoticeable take off vibe at 5 MPH. Should I install it anyway? I held off off installing shims or the CB drop because I didn't want to risk creating legit vibes trying to correct a teeny tiny vibe.

Its a 5 minutes install max. Might be worth a shot. If there still isn't a vibe with it then I would leave it on to help with the angle. The harsher the angle the faster the carrier bearing will wear.

I think I went 2 inches exact. I'll pick it up for good measure.

Cool. I'll give it a shot and see how it goes then. I'm at 2.75" in the rear.
