    OME 90000s+887s, LR UCAs. AllPro Expos + 5100. KM Fab hybrid sliders w/kickout. KM Fab bed rack. 48" hi-lift. 16" FJ Trail Team wheels. 285/75/16 Hankook Dynapro ATMs. Magnaflow cat-back. K&N filter. TRD short-throw shifter. Murdered out via plasti-derp front grille and rear bumper. LED interior. De-badged tailgate. Rock lights (7). G2V 3x2 ditch lights.
    DO NOT have 5100s+887s on any other setting besides the lowest one. The height of the coils gets you the 3" of lift by itself, and without the need of spacers either. You will quickly be running into a lot of problems if you keep things the way they are.

    With the three inches gained with 887 and 5100's are you installing a diff drop or not?

    The 886s are a stiffer spring for supporting added weight.

    886 are the heaviest.... weird i know. They are the same length but the 887s are softer.

    The 886 are the heavier coils. I've read others have added top plate spacers to those for added height, but never running those coils with 5100s at anything over the 0 setting....

    I'm trying to learn. what have I done:annoyed:?!

    @pyriteCO

    @ragincajun35

    So there is tension because the strut is being extended and the coil is pushing against the strut? so there are 2 forces pushing against each other? :confused:

    The coil is already longer to give lift. You are compressing the coil past what it is supposed to be compressed.

    You are losing a lot of wheel travel, and running the risk of blowing the strut out from over-extending it. You are also putting (maybe literally) a ton of pressure on the seat of the strut, running the risk of the coil losing tension altogether on any rough bumps.
