It was finally nice enough outside to wash/wax the truck. Definitely a lot more work than washing/waxing a car - having to get on the steps and in the bed to reach parts of the top of the cab. Glad I was able to get a coat of Maguire's NXT (cuz that's what I had) and some Zaino Z6 on the truck before it gets too cool and/or rainy again. Missed the apricot smell of the Z6, now my garage smells like apricots. And, damn, does that Inferno look good after some TLC.

I bought a step stoll and a low speed power buffer. Makes life alot easier.

I have a hard time reaching the middle of the windshield to clean it, too. So, I may have to buy a step-stool at some point. I have a power buffer, but have never used it. I may have to give it a test drive on our older, black Acura TSX before using it on the Taco.

Now I know why Marty McFly hired Biff to wash/wax his Taco! I'm gonna feel this tomorrow - I ain't as young as I used to be. :)

Derpy derped the emblems black. Put on 7 coats (10 min between each coat), was super easy and peeled right off the paint (Use toothpicks between letters!). Even though I masked the entire door, I still used a hand held piece of cardboard at an angle to prevent "wind blown" overspray. You wouldn't believe how much of that shit floats in the air. Spray close and fast for each coat. I polished the truck when completed just in case and was in need of anyway. I was going to replace the emblems with OE Tacoma black emblems orignially, but found the font is different on the 16 compared to previous years. The angles of the letters are a bit different and wanted to keep the updated look.

Well they lit up. They look pretty white looking at them in the day light. It hasn't got dark yet...

I checked out the link and it says it does not fit the 2016 Tacoma.

Took my old TRD exhaust from my 2014 DCSB, cut a few inches off of it and welded the flange on from the 2016's stock exhaust (since it is different and doesn't use a donut). Sounds pretty good on this truck. Also installed 5500k HIDs in the low beams, VLEDs VX3 LED bulbs in the fogs and LED lights throughout the cabin and in the reverse lights.

Yesterday, I 303'd all the exterior plastic, rubber, vinyl, etc.
Today, I got my tint. Suntek ceramic; 25% in the back and rear, 18% in the front. Going to get 85% on the windshield in a week.
