Wait until like 2017 or 2018 if it is anything like the 2nd gen. They might have the kinks worked out by then, I doubt it as they still haven't worked out the kinks in the 2005 to 2015.

That's the best idea I've heard all year. That would look so slick!

Definitely this, and the big thing is there was no real commentary when the 2nd gen was released since TW didn't exist just yet, or at least didn't have near as many members as it does now. I'm sure similar conversations were had on TTORA or elsewhere.

Just like when the 5th gen 4Runner came out, good god the hate. And then the aesthetic change for 2014 models and same for the 2012 Tacoma update.

    Haters gon hate.
I think the 3rd gen front end sucks:stirthepot:

Toyota designed the front end to be ugly so people could get the fukc out da way when hauling a$$ off-roading.

Not quite, but we're thinking about letting 3rd gen'rs mix with the general population & see what happens...

I've been a Jeep guy for the last 10 years, and just picked up my first Tacoma, a 2016, a month ago. I love it. It's almost hard to get used the quite ride. I like the looks of all Tacomas, always have. The only downer about it - the f-ing whining about the 3rd gen vs other gens. Jeep guys never wet the bed like this about the chang in design/style. LOL - in the Jeep world there is of course the "jeep wave". Doesn't matter what year you own. I guess in the Taco world there's a "2nd gen wave" and "3rd gen wave". It's laughable. They are all great trucks!

no one waves at Tacomas.. cause most people buy them to be a car with a bed. not a dedicated off road shoe box. :bananadead:

The biggest thing that bothers me is the headlights. They just don't fit for some reason. I think they are way too skinny and stick out too far. Otherwise I can live with the rest.
