I have not seen one of these, so let's get one going. I spent 40 minutes on the phone with Pro Comp today, and they will not have detailed specs on which of their 16" wheels will clear 2016 calipers, nor exact specs of the lift kits till end of November. In fact, they had to recall their 2016 lift kits because they had different specs then their 2015's which they assumed would work.

I am specifically interested in whether anyone has successfully fit 16" Pro Comp 7032's on their factory stock 2016 TRD Offroad without any modifications and lift kits.

If you have 16" and they fit without any caliper issues, please post them up here and include wheel brand, exact specs, and tire size.

Search the forum someone already has them installed and pics of said install. I even saw a link to the wheels that were purchased ... go for it... search away.

If it's the inferno red 2016, those were 17" I believe.

I ordered 16x8 Mickey Thompson Classic III Black, 4.5 inch back spacing, 0 offset.

$126.80 each, ships from and sold by Amazon with free shipping (even to Alaska! :woot: )

I can confirm that they fit! Clears the calipers just fine! I'm going to mount Bridgestone Blizzaks for the winter.

Given from factory you can buy the TRD bead lock style wheels, which are 16s, I'm going to assume 16s will fit lol

We're getting these with the machined face option on our white SR5. I dig the black/gunmetal, but dark wheels seem to get lost on white trucks. Can't wait to see what yours looks like.

Looks great. Looking forward to your report. I am still debating between the NV and Mesh. What tires are you going to run?

I only have 800 miles on 2016 and I am going to leach the "brand new truck" thing for a while. I am going to run the stock Goodyears till at least next year, then go Icon 3" lift and upgrade to either 285 Toyo Open Country or Nitto Terra Grapplers.

Interesting perspective, and I can appreciate it. But to me, a white truck is a blank canvas for all the goodies one puts on them, and I feel that black wheels with pseudo bead-lock will look badass on the super white ;-)

The 2016 has the exact same wheel clearance as the 2015. Same components. :)

Glad to know it worked out though.

But not every 16" aftermarket wheel will clear the calipers on every single Tacoma, 2015 and pre or 2016, hence the reason for this thread.

It's a great thread, Trip7. I was not confident when ordering my Mickeys that they would fit given my stock 17" rims were less than half an inch away from the calipers on the inside surface. I went ahead and took the chance anyway going on a few gen 2 guys saying they worked for their truck.

I would have liked to read a thread like this with someone who had my exact truck showing that they definitely work before spending the money and having them shipped.

I hope everyone who get's aftermarket 16" rims on their gen 3 posts the details and a picture here so that this thread becomes a resource and source of inspiration to all.

    Bravo, @tripleseven , bravo.

Right, but every wheel that would clear the calipers on a 2015 will clear the calipers on a 2016. :)

So let's see these rims mounted with some rubber already! I love those rims for their simplicity.

I am anxiously waiting to see how these look since I will likely be cloning your rim choice.

** edit, never mind, I will have to wait until Thursday with you, lol ***
