Aaron and I won't be able to camp again until after December 15th roughly because of finals. But we would love to! Aaron got to do box in his truck, I'd love to run it in mine too!

This is all Myth to the best of my knowledge, but the land around Coke ovens is private and "closed". The trail is supposed to be fenced preventing people from accessing the area but the fence is almost never in place and has been removed on countless occasions.

The story is basically this: there used to be an old man that lived out on the homestead out there and managed the land. when he died it only took a matter of week for the house to have all its windows broken, things stolen and trash just dumped all over the place. His daughter who lives somewhere back east "closed" the trail to public access after a couple instances of graffiti on the ovens and the condition of the homestead.

Being as popular as the trail is people still frequent the area all the time. A good rule of thumb if you are caught out there is to always do a little extra, bring some trash bags and pick up a little extra trash and play dumb if confronted. There have been a few instances of the family allowing access to the land to clubs for events and what not but they are very hard to get in contact with and mostly will ignore any requests. I've spoken with her in the past but don't know if i still have her contact info

Those aren't torqued very high. Mine were loose when I still had Toytecs. Call Toytec and they should be able to send you a nut very easily.

We were going to get a new bolt and washer as well. We're assuming the threads on the bolt have been damaged and we lost the washer too.

I'm down! Although.. I would really like to try the Box Canyon in Wickenburg as well. Lydia says its really awesome and she used to take her Ranger down in there. sandy washes, large canyon walls, water, etc.

awwww i didnt know it could be changed from thread to thread.. regardless.. idc. lol

soooo I went to mount my Gopro on Q's trailer to get some sweet footage on the way in (would of been awesome too to catch that one water crossing where I almost lost the trailer lol) and then realized I didnt have a micro SD card for it..:pout:

Sam and I would probably be down for the Box Canyon in Wickenburg. That's over on our side of town.

Oh, ok. I may not win in this challenge. All depends on what the insurance gives me.
