gonna go look at her tomorrow and most likely bring her back too lol. The guy said the truck has 250K miles....which really isnt too bad for a 35 year old truck lol, he also has the title for it as well (which is nice)

Bill, I checked them out on FB. Looks pretty fun. I wouldnt be into any serious body damage, but you said there were places to pass a lot of the extreme stuff. Im guessing with a name like the swamp there is lots of water? Anyway if I can fit a run into my schedule sometime, I'd be interested in checking it out. THanks for the info.

You're fucked now. When I was active duty I ended up with three vehicles before I got out.

    Here's my old '83.

You want a 22R? Read up on 22R block with a 20R head. Another option for you. Cheaper too.

I'm in the same boat as you. But I'm leaning more towards waiting til my enlistment is up and importing a rhd diesel land cruiser.

Next time I'm able to build a dedicated off-road toy, it'll be a '78 FJ-40, built the same year as me haha.

Yeah an '83, '96, '12(PreRunner doh), then back to the '07.

The '83 had a Weber carb, Offenhauser intake manifold, LC Engineering header, high flow cat, 2.5" piping, Flowmaster 40 series, 35" Boggers, Eagle 15" wheels, 9" lift, replaced all factory gauges with Autometer, vented discs up front, original Stubb's sliders, bushwacker flares to make Virginia police happy, think I had an MSD blaster coil too.
It was a fun side project. It wasn't road worthy when I bought it. I was juggling projects between it, a '93 Integra with a fully built 2.0 B18C1 swap, and an '01 Audi S4.
