This is the truth...NEVER trade a Toyota or Honda..Too many people looking for them used.

Unless there is a phenomenal tax advantage.

People who live in States like SC with a $300 sales tax Cap and other states with little or no sales tax should never trade a vehicle.

    Look at it this way.

If you get $2000 more than dealer trade and if you can get $2000 off MSRP,you are $4000 ahead before you negotiate the new vehicle. . That is how I turned a 15 TRD Sport into a 16 TRD Sport for $3000 more out of pocket for the base and gladly paid another $3000 for options I did not have on my 15. Moon roof, JBL, Blind Spot, Parking sensors, Top of the line Entune System, QI Charging, and the rest of the Premium and Tech. Plus Tint and the dealer adds.

I can almost sell my truck today for what I paid for it as most are paying MSRP without blinking an eye.

Not sure of every detail as my truck has been broke down for more than 2 weeks now. All paper work is in the truck.

My truck had sticker of $35617 a dealer add on of around 1300+dealer fees+tt Had a total of 33,000 OTD with minimal down 500? Plus after deal complete I got a check for $500. total $32500 OTD. Leased 319/month 36 month

After the deal was made my jeep was totaled due to the floods here in SC. I went back to dealer and SET had an additional $500 rebate for people who sustained flood loss vehicle.
    Premium tech pacage w/moonroof

    Paint Protection Package

    Sticker $40,556.00
    I paid Before Taxes $37,862.00

They dropped the sticker to account for giving me a crappy trade allowance.

DCSB TRD OR 4x4, with towing and premium/tech package, manual trans, and factory tonneau cover.

$35,000 (before tax, title and license). Offered 1% financing, and took it. Beat my credit union by .49%.

I should have mentioned the tonneau, I have that as well. I really think I got a decent deal on the whole thing and I love the way it drives.

Automatic? What dealer did you use? Maybe I can get a quote from them to use against my dealer.
