Coverking Neosupreme Seat Covers? Reviews? Thoughts?

Driver side bolster on my TRD seats has finally worn through right above the bolster knob after 70k miles. Time to pull the trigger on a set of seat covers.

Ive been eyeballing the Coverking Neosupreme covers. I cant find too many reviews on these since they arent as popular as the Wet Okoles. Ive found a few reviews, but they arent very solid.

For those who have these, how well do they hold up? I dont wanna get them and they fall apart in a year or whatever. I dont abuse the interior of the truck, but I want the covers to be able to handle dirt from hunting and fishing trips.

I got the Coverking Mossy Oak NeoSupreme covers for my front and back seats about 2 months ago. It took a couple hours to install with the directions but I took my time. You have to be careful when you install them over the seats and running the lines under the seats. When I put the covers over the seats, it looked liked the seams were going to rip. They did not, but I was worried since I spent a lot of money on these covers. Also the lines that go underneath the seats you will have to be careful and not stretch them to much. It looked like when I was putting them in, they were going to rip. They look great so for but has only been 2 months.

 

I've had them on my truck for about 5 yrs now and they have held up like a champ. No rips or anything so far. I dread to think how bad my stock seats would be without them as my gf slides off the seat when exiting the truck.

 

I've been researching Coverkings and the CalTrend seat covers. I didn't want to spend too much $$$$$ but I might just go ahead and go Wet Okole. I had a set for my Jeep and they were amazing. I just didn't want to spend that much right now. The CalTrends seem to have gotten a little better reviews on sites but then Coverking has also. I was going to go NeoSupremes and hope for the best. It seems the seams rip out more on Coverkings from what i've read.

I can't decide.

 

From having multiple sets on hand & have installed multiple in my truck, I can vouch for Coverking & CalTrend.
Coverking Neosupreme has a "foamish" feeling to it.
As for the fitment, the one piece design sometimes slid out when I got out of the truck because you just tuck the excess in (granted I didn't have the side strapped closest to the center console which would have prevented it).

I am currently running CalTrend Neoprene and they are the shit. They are much heavier weight wise, and seem a lot more durable than the neosupreme. CalTrend's 2 piece design is my favorite, fits like a glove.

Another good option from Coverking/CalTrend is the DuraPlus. They're a heavier duty material that would withstand more beating than the neosupreme.

Can't go wrong with those, before you pull the trigger PM me and I'll see if I can get a good deal on a set for you. had the exact same charcoal/black set on my truck and they fit well.

 

Also, for your question regarding dirt when hunting/fishing, the charcoal portion of my Coverking Neosupreme stained really easy with chapstick.
Not sure how they'd do with dirt.
I think the DuraPlus / Ballistic type would be better for your use.

 

I am assuming the Caltrend ones, when they say "sport" front seats they mean the TRD seats? 153 for fronts is pretty damn good!

Honestly, i'm not sure why they say "sport".. TRD/Sport seats are the same (except for if you have airbags or not)

The set I have in my TRD fit like a glove and they were made for a "sport"

The only difference is whether you have side airbags & whether or not you have the SR5 (fold flat passenger seat), and sometimes driver's lumbar, but not sure if that has a major role in seat fitment to be honest.

 

it just seems like they use the term "sport" to denote the TRD seats, at least thats what cross referencing part numbers on their site and auto anything etc leads to.

 

i'm guessing so, because 50/50 bucket is just the seat in general. So front row bucket & front row sport bucket are the same thing.
When ordering you'd just need to make sure you select whether or not you have 1) side airbags or not and 2) fold flat passenger seat or not.

They have so many options it making it confusing, but since i've had multiple sets i've pretty much decoded what each means haha.

The ones I have are, I think most or all of theirs are 2 piece design. I too like it much more.

I read one review from a TW member where the stitching on his driver's side was starting to come apart after a few years at the seams. He said his rear covers were still in near perfect condition.
Other than that I haven't heard too many negative things about them.

 

Gotcha. I havent really seen too much on them either other than that thread as well
