Nice I'll have to look at that one. Haven't made much progress. Still have some life in mine so I'm not in a huge rush with the battery right now.

I'm going to try to work on the rock lights next when I get some time. Then I'll focus on the battery.

I bet that took some time getting that rear on by yourself. Looks great though, did a fine job.

Another axe brought back to life.

I shaped the haft myself this time to make it look and feel better. Came out much better than the first one.

Maybe I'll get a better picture tomorrow. Just a crappy cell pic for now.

Edit: haven't put an edge back on it yet either...

My lights had an adhesive backing and then I epoxied them to the angle brackets. I drilled a hole into the bracket for the wire to pass through and epoxied around that to avoid it stripping and also epoxied the end of the light to seal it from the environment a little.

So you're saying to get more epoxy... :spy:

That is what I was going to do, don't trust the included tape.

I asked Brandon in his thread but what did you use to tie the lights into the main power/ground leads? Taps? No sure if they would hold up under there or not?

I probably should have used T Taps. Instead I ran a lead all round the truck and soldered on the lights in where I wanted them. To both ground and power. Works great but if I did it again Id use the taps.

Thanks! My solder gun and I... we hate each other.

Edit: I am going to give this method a try. Seems easy with a pair of wire strippers.

That's basically what I did but minus the soldering.
