I read the first few pages. Just stopped cause it seemed like it was someone from a frontier forum trying to start a lame online arguement of whats better.

the truck has several minor problems, but the major stuff is there when you need it. Such as drivetrain.

I haven't hit my first winter yet so i had the undercarriage, engine bay, and door paneling sprayed with sound proofing/rust proofing material. I seen what chicago winters do to toyota frames. My mothers landcruiser a 50K$ vehicle looked like it was 8 yrs old after its first winter. Absolutely sickening that my 98' pontiac withstood salt better than a 50K toyota.

An excellent example of drawing conclusions from a biased sample.

I disagree as well. I love my Taco! There are some things that I would like different like no carpet, a bed light, an icon for the fogs . . . ect. But those are all just personal prefrence. There not perfect but its a damn good little truck! :smack:

tacomas are not perfect. If you base it to the older models they are less complicated.Tpms are not mandatory then and tpms are not made to perfection and they break.Thats just an example why some think the new tacomas have more issues.Simple mechanism is a thing of the past.To the ones that are not happy with your tacoma sell it.You'll get a lot back since the resale value beats real estate.

When I first picked up my truck 20 days ago, I was skeptical about it. But now as I am spending more time with my truck. Everything you said is not true.

No offense, but buying used was the mistake there.

I REFUSE to own a vehicle where I don't know the complete service history.
