Should I route my harnesses through the slot under the head rest? Also been reading on other forums that the harness bar should be above your shoulders or level?? I thought slighty below. Mine is slightly above and I feel like it makes it so I can move up out of my seat a little too much

I'm late to the driveline talk but you definitely want to keep it 2 piece. And pick up a Inland empire driveline carrier bearing. You only need small modifications to fit it and they are bomb proof and quiet. Stay away from the solid carrier bearings.

Small modifications to the driveshaft itself or the carrier bearing mount/crossmember?

Got a part number by chance?

Are your seats on a slider?

Hmm that's intersting the way the harness bar is. I like it though

Small modification to the crossmember. As for the drive shaft just have a slip yolk added to yours is cheap and easy especially if you bring the shop a 4wd bottom half from a junk yard. I'll sent you the part number tomorrow, that website is not phone friendly

No they are solid mounted. I did the harness mounts that way because of the 3rd seat.

Not a fan of the single hole seats but it's better then the harness slipping down the side of the seat in an accident

I went with none suspension seats for many reasons but one perk is you can mount them as low as you want. I'm 6'4" and have so much head room even with a 2" cage. It's a tundra but still.

I have dmz spring under and have yet to modify my drive shaft, I do have it strapped a couple inches shorter than I could. I think its strapped at like 16" instead of 18". Its on my to do list and I probably shouldve done it while I had the driveshaft out to replace the U joints last week, doh

I guess the harnesses are almost 0 degrees...but the harnesses aren't long enough to go through the hole in the seats and reach the c pillar lol
