Our 2010 Tacoma did not come with any floor mats. There are two holes on the floor of both the driver and passenger side, where floor hooks normally would be.
I planned to order Weather Tech floor mats today; and the sales person discouraged me from ordering any because of the missing floor hooks.
If you have the 2010 what are you doing about floor mats? Winter is coming and the floor carpet is getting soiled!

IF you are saying that there are no hooks where the holes are, go back to the dealer and get your hooks, mine were in a bag that were supposed to be put in the carpet but where not because I rushed them to take delivery so they did not install them...but they should supply the hooks

The WeatherTechs fit like a glove in the front & back. They won't slide up like other standard floormats as long as there is nothing underneath the WeatherTechs.

Our 2010 Tacoma was manufactured late September...so I think there were NO floor mats when it left the factory. Therefore NO Hooks! So, if your 2010 came with no floor mats, how are you getting the hooks?

Hooks should be cheap but you don't really need them, the weathertechs are a perfect fit.

Call WeatherTech back and tell them that you have no holes on the passenger side floor mat (since you don't have one). That will keep them happy.

I have a manual transmission and they fit fine. I did a little clearance work around the gas & clutch pedals and trimmed a quarter of an inch with an X-Acto knife to make sure there was no interference.

I'm not using hooks. They're in the basement somewhere.

I ordered a set of all-weather mats direct from WeatherTech (part no. W123) -- they came with 4 hooks.

I think we'll look into ordering mats directly from Weather Tech if they come with 4 hooks. We didn't want the digital ones; just the rubber mats for front and back ($115), so we wanted to make sure they would be secure. The sales person at Auto Anything told me to wait until Toyota makes a decision...but I'm afraid that could take months.

    Hmmm ...

Does WeatherTech offer the hooks as a separate part?

Might help the people with missing or broken hooks.

WeatherTech may already be on top of the issue. Mine came as part of an order for the same style mats for my wife's 07 Highlander. The Highlander mats didn't come with hooks, and (AFAIK) Highlanders aren't included in Toyota's recall, even though the hook system is identical to my Tacoma's.

I think it would be next to impossible to remove the WeatherTech's with hooks installed without making a mess of the interior. Reinstalling them with hooks would be a pain which is why I left them out.

Time and cursing spent to vacuum the interior?

    No hooks.

I'm not sure why you need the hooks.....

I have husky liners and I took my hooks out. The husky's don't have any place for the hooks to hook into. They fit perfectly.

You and I don't need hooks. We don't have killer rubber floor mats in our trucks.

Damn straight they are! The front driver's and passenger side can hold almost 1 gallon of liquid, then it overflows over the door sill.

Mine came with the rubber all-weather mats that say "Tacoma" on them, but I replaced them with a set of Weathertechs. I'll sell you my factory Tacoma all weather mats, front and back, for $50, plus whatever it costs me to ship them to ya... They are practically brand new, as I had about 5k on the clock when I swapped them out.....

I have a buddy who just slammed some velcro-tape on the bottom of his digifits and turned them into rip-n-stick floorliners. They stay put good like. Plan to do this with mine.
