Well...... I did move them. After modifying the blank holes for my OTRATTW switches modifying the slots to fit the oem switches was the easy part.

I got a little work done on the box while my wife binge watched some TV.

I left the ends even and ready for connectors.

I also received my PAC-200 ($38 200amp continuous duty) and the Amazon bargain brand ($17 150amp continuous duty) solenoids. I bought the Amazon version and they shipped it before I could cancel the order.

Love them. The look is simple and effective, just like any new pair of headlights they give off good light. I'm wondering if there is any sort of way to help prevent oxidation? I want to keep them looking new.

I put this in the "What have you done with Tacoma" thread, but since it doesn't get many views I thought I'd share it here.

On Friday and Saturday I used it to winch over the pieces of this tree. Getting them on the ground is the fun part, cleaning them up is work. You can see the Taco in the background of the second pic, as well as the winch line to the tree. I usually use the remote for my winch on trees, but I had a helper on this job, so he ran the winch controller.

I bought a new toolbox. UWS low profile, $385 shipped on Amazon but I got it for $270 shipped. My buddy is the manager of an Advanced Discount Auto Parts and ordered it for me through a commercial account that my other buddy has for his used car lot. It's all about who you know.

Took my truck on its first real drive in the snow since I bought it in February. No front mud flaps and Method NV rims that stick out a bit. Michelin LTX M/S2 tires.

Did pretty well. Used 4H after seeing an F350 lose rear traction ahead of me while he was trying to accelerate from a stop light.

Definitely throwing slush up the side of the truck though.

We don't salt here in Montana but they do sand. Might have to replace the front flaps. :(

If you do replace them, try trimming them up a bit. Looks much better

Yeah I was thinking about trying to find shorter ones. At least on the front.
