Hello all! Toyota sprayed my 2007 Tacoma frame with the 00289-TOOKT-DS (FP number) rubber spray but didn't use a Mirac Acid prior to spray. Won't this approach trap the water within the metal and rubber spray causing future frame rust issues? I only have 83,000 miles on my truck and want it to last for many "safe" years!

Also, I've noticed some spray falling off around shock area (rust is visible). Truck was sprayed in February of 2015 and I notice their warranty is only for 1 year on repairs.

I'm thinking of writing a letter to both the local dealer and corporate.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    KJ

the general concensus on here is that rubberized undercoatings are a no no. For the very reason you stated.
