    Hello,

I'm buying a 2007 TRD Sport Tacoma with 35,000miles for $19,000 from a private party. The truck appears to be in good shape. What do ya'll think...is this a good price. It is per kbb value but not sure that means much.
    Thanks!

sandman427 does have a really good point..i bought a civic for 4k all in cash..to find out that it wouldnt pass smog a year later..during a routine oil change, the mechanic came and told me that all of the cluter lights were missing..when he installed the light bulbs, guess what....oil lamp and engine check came on..sold that shit and bought a 2005 trd sport tacoma 1 hour later lol...bring someone who is more mechanically inclined to save yourself a headache later..but that is a good price for that truck

Thanks for all the replies. It's not a 4x4. Well dude selling is says he needs the $$$ to go on a mission trip to Kenya. He is a good guy and doubt he's scamming me. Already ran the carfax and it checks out. Only thing that sucks is the warranty at 36,000 is about to run out but guess that's a chance you take.

Any more thoughts. I'm going to take a close look for that oil leak near the timing belt cover....hope the 60,000 power train warranty is transferable.

Take it to a mechanic to do a buyers check..just to cover your ass...usually less than 100 bucks to do a full look over..have it checked out ..and save your ass from lots of problems later on
