    don't be jealous o.0

just have to set them up right. goes beyond just bolting them up.

if I weren't fixing to cut off the entire rear end of the truck and build from scratch, I'd buy another pair of OEM leafs and an AAL.

I decided on staying with my 12" shocks since the ride height length of them is 22.5" (4.6" up & 7.2" down), if I go with 14" that will leave me with 1.75" of up travel

However, I have a friend who works for 4wheel parts that can get you a set for 66.99/ shock

Thinking about going with the 3-4 inch lift 5100s and dakars.

remember to get the extended 5100s that are made for the RCD 4.5'' lift. regular 5100s will be terrible with that much lift.

So here's an update on Smokey. Last Friday I went over to the body shop with the intentions of popping the LCA back into place, putting a spacer on, and driving the truck to a friends shop to work on it. Well, I did most of that.

When I pulled the tire off it was clear that I had an issue. The LCA poppped back into place with the help of the factory bottle jack. It was after getting it back into place that I realized the LCA frame mounts were bent towards the rear of the truck by about 20 degrees. That little Fiat did a number on the truck. The spindle was definitely bent, which I knew, but what I didn't expect was the lower control arm being bent as well.

I made the decision to let the shop put the truck back to where it was at that point. They straightened the LCA mounts, put an OEM LCA on, and the new spindle I brought them. After all of that they couldn't get the front left to align properly. So it looks like the UCA is damaged as well. It could be just the UCA bolt, or it could be the arm itself. So I made the decision to buy a new set of arms.

Instead of going back with the SPC LR arms I opted for a set of TC arms. Miles over at @ToyTec Lifts got me set up with a new set of arms and shipped them out yesterday. Thanks again Miles.

So I'll get the new arms on Monday and have them to the shop on Tuesday. Hopefully that will be the last big purchase I have to make to get the front end back to where it was.

Not unless you are planning on having a lot of weight on the rear of your truck.... shell, racks, RTT, rear bumper, spare swing out, etc. Flip those shackles though!!!:D

Thanks. She'll be back together soon enough.

Stock lowers Kase. I want to spend as little as I can on the IFS at this point.
