FWIW here is pic of DC with 884s, 5100s and TSB springs in the rear. I had right below 2"

This 6112 is a coil over where the 5100 is just a shock. So the 6112's are adjustable and I would assume a little bit higher quality than the 5100

I really like the ome set up the road manners are good for a truck, little stiffer then stock. Feels good, so far I like it. Like I said in the video it's only on speed bumps, not when I hit bumps in the road (haven't really nailed a major pot hole though) so far it's just a problem on speed bumps. This weekend I'm going to do a little off-roading and that will determine my real opinion on them. I can live with the speed bump issue as its apparently supposed to do that.?. but if they do that while I'm driving offroad over every little rock I'll be seriously thinking about switching my front shocks!

Ah so it's the front shocks that make noise. Let us know what you find out off-roading

My Dakars are squeaking like a fuck today. Worse than ever before.

Do not recommend them without doing anti-squeak mods, isolators or grease. Use something. Use everything.

It's the design of the shock. Mine does the same ting and I want to burn the shock with fire... when it's removed from my truck of course. :D

DO NOT BUY THE OME SHOCK IF YOU OFF ROAD. DO NOT. You will be severely disappointed.

What have you heard about the all-pro standard leaf pack? I want 2.5–3 inches of lift in the rear but I do not want the rough ride or the squeakyness that everyone says dakars have.

@tacomgee went with APs and they're so far silent and ride nice.

I thought this is what you have on your truck, and if so, are you disappointed with them?

I haven't. Seems like when they get wet, they squeak more. They were absolutely silent until a month after install and I got a car wash, then were pretty sporadic after that. Sometimes quiet and sometimes not. They've been fairly quiet until yesterday when we had rain here, and they stay pretty clean.

Probably going to end up blowing them out in the spring and greasing them. Maybe try the rubber isolator if I can pinpoint the noise.

Man that sucks. My truck makes a bunch of funky noises but my dakars are quiet. Go figure. Maybe it's all the other noises drowning out the dakars so i would never know :notsure: o_O

The OME suspension system is a leveling kit. Works great for a pavement pounder, except when you drive over speed bumps. When you off-road with it, it beats the living shit out the truck.

Watch Yesmar's video at 1:33. Here that loud ass sound?!? How about hearing that every 4-5 seconds on a rocky trail?

I'm not sure, but I believe they would because they have 1" more down travel, IIRC...
