Now that is sweet! It was good to caravan across Phoenix with you two, and our planning worked, we were just a few minutes early to Cobblestone. I guess there will be delays no matter what, but we were at least an hour late starting the 4x4 route, a good part due to the Circle K not having fuel.....

I was sure glad to pull into camp just before sunset.

Glad we added some fat in the timing. I felt bad being late but my copilot didn't get any sleep so we were slow to get him packed up.

Regardless we had a fucking blast on the 4x4 trail! So beautiful and the weather was perfect.

I'm itching to hit that trail again. I hope my buddy comes through in a couple weeks and we decide to do it. I'm addicted to wheeling and love the hell out of my truck!

My sliders were untouched. But, 3" lift, 70 tire, and chose safe lines. Only damage was a small scratch on the rear bumper after dragging ass down a gnarly step. And another freagin damaged sidewall. Fk these KO2s, I'm done with them.

    My poor black paint!

So Sam dropped a bomb on me this morning. She's been saving up for a new Gmc Terrain. Outta the blue she goes "It would be cool to get a Rubicon with some all terrains and a small lift so we can use it on the trails instead of the tundra" Lol

I took a nice layer out of my slider onbthe passenger side and almost hit body panel on those steps when the truck slid.

I hit front and rear bumpers and the pass side frame as well as the stock skid. Not really a biggie I understood the risks taking a stock full size offroad. The 2wd trail was much more rutted out than it was in March.

I wondered how a few of you got thru the Sandy water crossings. There were a few spots that I was like wow, someone is going to need the skinny pedal.

The water crossings are actually super easy, I never even lock the rear and it doesn't slip at all. Now that mud pit I hit with some speed because well, I can :)

I got a little too crazy (possible?) Through some of those and couldn't find my wiper switch fast enough. There was a solid few seconds where I couldn't see a damn thing :p

Haha I hit a few the same way, trying to get the big chunks of mud out of my wipers  the water crossings were like a free wash

That big pit reminded me of the Expo last year. It didn't matter where I tried to take a line, the ruts did it for me. I need to get over to Avid and use the power washer. The sand and mud is just baked on my truck. Plus I'm curious as to how bad the pinstripes are now.

@AZ.HGHCLBR did you know Brandon jumped on your bumper when he saw the rear and pop up on carpet hill? He really though you were going to lose it.
