Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.
Got some 3d texture carbon fiber print vinyl for $5. Made doorsill protection from it. Looks cool. We'll see how long it holds up.

And your shits still going to vibrate with a one piece and once they look at what they are doing it isn't going to happen anyways. Plenty of stuff on here about it. With as much as I've chased vibes on my truck you would think I had already searched that avenue up and down. You're going to have get mathematical with your angles. Buy a new carrier bearing, get a proper distance spacer, new u joints and go from there.

I know. tomorrow I'm getting under there and doing the math. I've seen more "one-piece fixed all my vibes" than anything else. I still have your DS spacer btw. I'll bring it back to you soon.

Yeah but you're a double cab pre runner just like mine. Most of those one pieces were for single cabs or 4wd. The last time I checked the over all length and slip yoke of our trucks is what prevents one piece being made.

Alot of the 4wd double cab guys have them, but they have the transfer case that eliminates some shaft length. From what I've found online, 70" is about the biggest you can go with a one piece and it not have any vibe problems or clearance issues.

Anyone had issues with their VSC after lifting? Called the dealership today and they basically blew me off so I'm gonna limp the truck down there tomorrow and see what I can get done.

This guy. As soon as my lift went on. Only when turning right (merging onto the interstate was damn near impossible). I never went to the dealer since all but one of the threads on here had no success and the one successful fix didn't match my symptoms. Tried the jumper wire recalibrate but it didn't work. Had alignment with emphasis on the steering wheel angle issue, still no good even after another jumper wire recalibrate. Ended up wiring up a switch to kill my ABS module which in turn disables throttle limiting, traction control, and the VSC brake modulation. Good luck

That's a long driveshaft. You are probably eliminating offroading in your truck from your list of hobbies. The whole point of a two piece is clearance. I know you've seen those 16" lift chevys/Ford's cruisin around with a 1 piece that's literally half the length of the truck. They couldnt drive over a flattened coke can without driveshaft clearance issues

I thought of doing that but this is the first vehicle I've ever owned that actually has a warranty lol.
