So I got a dilemma for u guys thought I would ask for your input I used to have an 05 tacoma and I loved it. Sold it to get a diesel well ended up not caring for the diesel like I thought I would so I sold it and bought a 15 tundra trd Crewmax in Feb of this year. I owe approx. $31k on the tundra. I am debating as to whether I should pay it off which I could comfortably do. Or sale it maybe get $5-6k money back out of it and pay cash for a used tacoma. Maybe something in the $25 range. I have nothing to pull except a small little at trailer. I have two kids in car seats. Just trying to decide what to do. Love the tundra but not enjoying the commitment I made money wise.

Keep the Tundra. They appear to me as a better built truck than the later gen 2nd gen Tacoma's. Definitely way better looking than the laughable 3rd gens.

Pay it off and enjoy your car note free life for some time.

The Tundra is a better fit for car seats than a DC Tacoma.

    Pay it off.
You'll feel better than losing money on the tundra,& ending up with a used Tacoma.

Choose the way that gets you paid off/no car loan the fastest. I just recently paid off, and in the future if i cant pay cash, im not getting a new vehicle. I hate owing money. Gotta take good care of my truck so it lasts:)

    The better coast
For 2016, 25k will likely get you a 2.7 double cab.

But no real bells or whistles iir the pricing correctly at 25k.

I've read the 2.7 with the 6sd auto is an awesome combo. And if your don't need to tow more than 3.5k it's a great option.

As far as a used 2015, 25k will get you a nicer truck. You can probably find a certified preowned dc 4x4 for 25k in good condition. Bells and whistles will vary but it will have the 100k warranty.

If you look around you may be able to find a new 2015 left and the dealer may offer you a great trade in value for your current truck.

Yea but car seats still fit fine....I live in a metro area so being able to fit everywhere in the city when I venture in from suburbs was why I chose the taco over tundra... Along with not having to stand at the fuel pump for 12 hours to fill up

And for 28k I'll sell you my 2015 DCSB super white Texas Editon with black wheels prerunner with entune, line x step bars, tinted windows and only 3500 miles

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
I own a 2016 crew max and I could not down size to a 2nd Gen Tacoma after having this truck! The Tundra is going to be way more comfortable for the family. As well at going from the 5.7 to 4.0 you would feel for sure!.

One can never have too many light bars.
Gas is cheap right now and I feel like that's the only real downside of a tundra. I say pay off the tundy.

A truck on 33's, 400 hp and weighing 6k, 16 mpg is pretty good. I say keep the tundra not that my opinion is biased or anything :)

this is why i choose a tacoma. Expensive at first, but long term it makes sense. They last! Same thing with tundra.

Whatever you feel in your gut man. Flip a coin, and when its in the air you will secretly hope for it to land a certain way. Whatever u hope for as you catch that coin is what you really want deep down inside. I vote double cab Tacoma. Tundra is just too big in my opinion but still nice
