    I had to shave 1/8 inch off one side of my shock mounts but honestly I would have for a lot of other shocks out there other than factory for my truck.. They were close to the factory shocks in the beginning..

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    i had to shave on the rear shock eye bushings to get them to fit in my 09. maybe it's just something they changed on the shock and only newer are complaining b/c older ones mostly had lifts already?

    I would have gone a different route but for the money and what I'm using it for.. (Camping, trail riding) I knew ome was tested to hold weight well.. A few friends of mine live in Australia and one in south Africa.. And they stated over there .. They never go over a two inch lift.. Start to change characteristics of mechanisms and cause stress points in suspension components.. Two inches gives you the right amount of flex without being even more high centered.. They said only Americans go over 2 inches of lift.. Anyway thought it was cool to see what other countries think about suspension.. Think that's one reason ome stays near factory installments and close to the 2-3 inch range when loaded
