Wow that came out really nice. I want my truck to look similar to that. My truck will never see any heavy off roading other than camping trails.

Well thank you! For the cost it's been nothing but amazing. I've pushed this truck hard and it's yet to slow down. And I'm also on a 1500mile trip across the country, and it has been comfortable! No fighting alignment issues, no vibrations from the tires or anything, smooth sailing

Yeah, those put it close to a 35, so i may not go that option. Will probably do the 285's

So how much stiffer did it make the ride in the back, and did it level the truck off completely just putting the AAL in the back? Or did you have to put blocks or anything on it?

I just got my bilstein lift for christmas, now i have to save up and get wheels and tires for it, but im going to do the full 3 inch lift on it and set mine to the 2.25 setting with the spacer on top on the front. After having it a while, how the ride on it, is it still stiff or has it softened up a little bit?

When it comes to lift, block = AAL, but the AAL is better performance and ride. I've been in a truck with the same set up as mine but with a block in back and don't like it as much. You can always fine an AAL, or a new leaf pack, that'll give you more lift and better performance than a block lift

Why are you adding the spacer up front? Is there any specific reason?

And I drive my truck daily, love the ride. If you check out my sway bar removal thread (https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/how-to-remove-sway-bar-2012.365947/), that took care of a lot of the stiffness up front and helped a ton with the ride

I like the level look on the truck and it will give it a little more lift to help it level out. Or so thats what i have found in researching it.

Not at all, level is max setting to the bilsteins upfront and the AAL in the back. My truck is more lifted on the front than back by a little, the spacer would make it more lifted in the front

As you can see, it's pretty damn level

Also make sure to do research on the extra spacer, I've heard horror stories about it doing damage to the truck and being harder to align

Well I mean there's the "need" for the 1/4 spacer on the drive side to make it level (taco lean, because of the gas can, battery, driving, etc) but other than that no the spacer isn't needed

I have just the bilsteins up front and my trucks level, and fits 285/75/16 (33's)

Okay that's a different story then haha that spacer isn't to add more lift, it's to get rid of the taco lean

    I do not sorry

1/4 inch on the driver side is all you need

They may be right, but if you add a 1/4 spacer to the driver side to level out the taco lean, and then add a spacer to the passenger side as well... it will just create the lean again

Hahah dude you're cracking me up! Getting pieces as we go!

Just check to make sure it won't damage the truck, and if you want full 3"

Otherwise, you can fit 33's without the spacers
