Looks great! Any tire rubbing? I looked up your tires, and it looks like they are 32.80" tall.

Its a nice ride. I think it will be darn close to stock ride when I drop my tire pressure a little.
I didn't think I had any rubbing, but i had them stuffed in reverse yesterday and it rubbed pretty hard. I hope that is the only situation that they rub. I'm going to drive it like this for a while. I can always go back and add new UCAs and do some trimming if I need to later.

Well I have sold my 2007 to a guy at work. Super bummed to not have a Toyota in the drive way (first time in over 20 years). I am waiting on my 2016 to show up, which will hopefully be at the end of the month. So whats a guy to do.... get all the parts on order to lift the 2016 soon after it arrives. Here is the mid travel plan:

    King Remote-resi Coil-over (Extended travel).
Camburg UAC with Uni-moog ball joints.
    Extra UCA bolt.
Wheelers off-road 1.5" Progressive add a leaf with longer ubolts.
    King remote-resi rear shocks
    Goodyear Duratrac 265-75-R16

I will order it all (except tires) from @YotaDan Wheeler's off road. What am I forgetting?

love the look, just the right amount of lift, just a question why the Bilstein 6112 in the front versus the 5100? What are the differences/advantages?

Here's my Limited with the new 4" rough country. They also installed a 30" light bar and steps.

Sorry if I missed it, but has anyone tired running the BFG KO 2’a in 275/70R17? Right, now I’m in the process of selecting the correct lift , but I’d like to keep the original rims. Seems that the 285’s may rub unless I purchase a spacer kit. Maybe I’m in left field but I figured I’d toss it out there. I’m not looking to go nuts, but the truck needs a little lift and new sneakers.

With the lifts mentioned above (i.e., Bilstein 5100’s, Fox, Icon, Toytec, etc.), I was wondering how they all hold up in salty conditions, as PENNDOT loves to spray brine where I live. That s*()& destroys everything.

The 6112 is a much beefier shock. Better springs than the factory that I would have been using with 5100s, too. I figured for an extra couple hundred I knew that I wouldn't regret it later.ba3399bcf396194fe114874e37fe1e6e_d96caf18ca764939e09957b162957ae091441855.jpg

Doesn't the description say the rear bilstein 5100 shocks are for trucks with 0-1" of lift? so no problem going that extra .5" in the rear I assume?

I wondered about that as well. I asked before I bought and many people do it with no apparent issues.

Headstrongoffroad.com. They have great prices and support Tacomaworld. Many of us use them to purchase suspension items.

Just let me know man. These wheels would look great if they were powder coated a little darker. We threw them on my buddies 2016 MGM this weekend, and they looked killer against the darker color
