Is this CAD file a 2015 like it says? I got a comment from someone else saying it was a 2016

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
I'll tell you here as well it's a 2016 The body mount just behind the front wheel is off a 2016 not a 2015. As well as that scab plate behind the mount 2016 is the first year Toyota added that plate.

Damn your every where....dont be offended. I was just double checking.

Oh wise man Mr Lee....Am I correct in believing that the Front control arm pivots are different than the previous chassis?
that's really all I'm concerned with off this model.

I can't help with your question but I have a question for you?

Where do you get the CAD files?

oh the ideas I could try out if I had such files to work from...

from what i understand, the pivot points are all in the same location for front and rear suspension.

That stated the LCA rear frame attachment point uses the larger FJ cam bolt

that is definitely a 2016 frame though.

I am everywhere! and I'm pretty sure the pivots are the same but the lower cam bolting location might be different due to the larger cam bolt.

I don't know him personally but i know of his work.

I helped Joey few years back design/CAD engineer the 07-11 Chevy LT kit he has and also with the beginning stages of his Rackworks roof racks...All his design ideas, i just did all the CAD work to get it from concept to manufacturing. The Chevy kit was an awesome project (although he will say i took too long lol, nothing is fast enough for joey!!). I learned a ton on suspension geometry for unequal length A-arm setup from him...getting ready to do that for my Tacoma, might work with him on it so that i can get my cost down and give him a new kit.
We designed the whole kit and spent ton of time just detailing out travel issues such as bump steer with in the moveable CAD assy...

Great.....Im understanding that even though this is a 2016 frame...and taking into consideration the LCA rear frame attachment point uses the larger FJ cam bolt, body mount differences/scab plate differences....i could effectively use this to design from right?
