They need to make the slots on the bed walls deeper so 2x4's wall to wall make a flat platform with the top of the wheel wells.

I would put the V6 with Manual transmission in the Access cab ON ALL trim levels.

The option to have the ECT on at start up.

Return storage pocket on rear of driver seat.

Add Speed Controlled Volume to the radio.

Seriously though a manual offered in the DCLB is a major pent-up demand that has made many potential customers says "fuck it" and go to a full size. Rarely does any automaker make big changes 2nd year into a generation (The Honda Civic had an emergency refresh because it sucked so bad though) so we are likely stuck with the Tacoma the way it is for a while.

Not true. You can't get a DCLB with a manual transmission in US or CA. Or an AC SB for that matter...

Tell that to TacoJonn he is the one who thinks they are not offered. I didn't go look at what was offered in the US.

-The controls and on the dash need better lighting so you can see what you are pushing when it is dark out. (They only light up after you push them)
-A glove box light and center console storage box light would be nice.
-The Nav system should have an option to display altitude.
-The Nav system needs to have a mute option for the gal giving you directions. She talks too much. (There may be one, but I haven't found it yet)
-I dropped my Fob between the seat and the center console when picking the truck up at the dealer. It was a bear to fish it out. They need to fix that. (A common problem in newer vehicles)
-The seat needs finer adjustment in the incline angle of the back. One more click from too straight up is too far back.
-Passenger door needs the touch unlock like the driver door has.
-A tow hitch receptical on the front would be nice

Jeez, this is a total fail on Toyotas part. Every vehicle I owned before my Tacoma had fully lit switches....

You are able adjust the volume and even turn off the Nav voice guidance.

No no no. Put the parking brake on the floor. It currently takes up console space.
