Traveled 400 miles to find it, but put 400 miles on it in 1 day. Did you stay in a hotel? or was it 2 - 200 mile trips?

Screw the truck man. Let's talk about this GT-R. I have a 2011.75 E90 M3 with the competition package. By way of sound, it has the enhanced premium sound system which is simply spectacular. 825 watts and speakers everywhere including a sub under each of the front seats.

It's called the ReadyRamp. I use it as a ramp first to load the bike, then you can use it as a bed extender. It's not made specifically for the tacoma in terms of the attachments, but it worked fine. Loading a bike onto a truck bed is much easier on a sloping driveway. Also, I use two ratchet tie downs between the Ramp and the Tow hooks to lock the ramp onto the truck bed. Then I just run the bike up the ramp and right into the wheel chock. Do NOT ride it up the ramp, the "ladder steps" in the ramp are designed to stop the bike from rolling backwards, which also stops it from smoothly riding upwards, and can cause the bike to stall.

No need for hotel, it was a 6 hour drive.

Very nice!!! You have the same configuration Taco that I want!

TRD OR DCSB with Tech+JBL, Tow, and Cover.

I haven't purchased mine yet because I'm still working out a price with the dealers. If you don't mind, can you share how much you were able to haggle down to? I want to know what a good price is because so far the dealer is only doing 38,950 for everything... this seems really high and I'm tempted to wait.

Question on the ReadyRamp: Is there any way to use it "flipped in" like the Toyota one to keep a small pile of gear near the closed tailgate? Maybe get creative with the tie-downs to make it work? Looking at what to buy right now for my '15...

Ah! Good point, on the DC. But I have an AC because I wanted the most bed length I could get... so with the wheel wells further away from the tailgate on my AC, is there any reason it wouldn't work?

I think the extra length in the 6 foot bed is between the wheel wells and the cab. Same distance between wheel wells and tailgate in both beds.

Because people who live in the western US wouldn't consider breaking up a drive that is only 400 miles into two days.

Just get the '16, you know you want it. It will be fine for how little you tow.

That or keep what you have now, and buy an older 1st gen Tundra as second vehicle for yanking the camper around....or, or sell the camper and all your towing concerns will go away! :) :D

I love my little Casita though! I am about a year out from when I can get a new truck so I have time to decide. Hopefully information about the new Tundra will be coming out in the next year or so.
