That's a bummer! Sounds like all your hangers haft fallen of at some point too. I hadn't even thought about the hangers. I knew the guy's welds were crap and could have sworn there "was" another hanger near the muffler. I'm guessing with how bad his welds were that they rusted out and just fell off at some point without me realizing. :annoyed:

I finished wiring up an LED light in the center console to a magnetic switch. Nice and clean. I installed a BPF cooling panel I bought from @JD'STACO14.

    Same as everybody else...
I brought my Taco into the 20th century, switched out the hi/lo wipers for intermittent with the help of some TW guys. Not having intermittent wipers was one of my biggest gripes about the truck.Done deal...thanks Toyota, last vehicle I owned without intermittent wipers was a 67 Impala, I appreciate the trip down memory lane.

Yea it only had one hanger from the muffler because the exhaust was dumped....I used to beat the shit out of that thing! 4 cyl 5spd on 38s...would only go 55mph down hill with tail wind! but it would tear ass through some deep mud and water....probably why the exhaust rusted out and fell off lmao! :D

Mine broke last month (just over a year after install). I wouldn't worry about the lock, that seems to be just fine. Mine broke on the plastic stem that pushes the metal latch system to open. I'm still waiting for the replacement from PopNLock (they have awesome customer service btw) to see if they made any improvements on the design. That plastic stem seems like a failure point waiting to happen since its continually pressing against the metal latch mechanism.

Thanks for the heads up. Seems like everyone's breaks at some point but there really isn't another solution out there.

Yes. 4 1/4" for each mount and added fender washers behind the bed under the nuts.
With the Bakflip cover, I do not have access to the factory rails, so for me this was perfect solution. I kinda took a punt when I ordered them as I wasn't sure they would fit.
Got a 2500 mile road trip coming up, so will see how it goes, once I get there and get a little off road

Clay barred and followed up by a hand laid coat of Meguires ULW. Unreal results. These were taken in the shade. I'll snap a few in the sun tomorrow.

I need to get a hi lift. I can't use the factory jack on my truck anymore due to the lift. However I'm still not sure how I need to mount it. I've been considering under the tool box.
