Idk about that, everything those companies make costs millions of dollars a year in maintenance

How involved was it to get to that panel? I can get to one plug, a blank, after pulling the ventilation panel out. It's odd, it has wires attached to it. No clue what it would go to.

literally just finished installing it before i posted this.
but overall im satisfied with the install.
you have to shave the top of the switch down so its flush and shave out the hole in the dash where your blank is. see that little raised section in the center and those 2 little tabs. have to shave those fully off making it flush.

if you have any questions at all feel free to pm me

I got a new shift knob for free from the dealership! Long story short, I bought the wife a 2016 Camry. Got approved and told them I won't sign the papers unless I get it free. So needless to say I got it.

Here's her new ride as well.

Dude 30 isn't old...I've got a pair of boots that are older than that. Whatever your age always remember it's better to be looking down at the flowers than looking up at the roots.

Well shit... Your shift knob story was better than mine. That's a solid negotiation tactic though. Well played!
