There was a thread on ozboost here on TW for a group buy but I think it fell through cause of the interest not being enough.

    Edit: found it.

I'm surprised that they responded in that way. It's retarded on How hard is it to respond to emails for some people especially since they can be linked to a cell phone and in this regard to a business email.

Didn't see the time stamps, not sure how long he took to respond. Did you account for the time difference? Maybe he was on lunch / dinner? Just saying hard to get an idea about the guy just seeing the convo and not how long he took to respond. I know small business's can take some time to get back even if in the middle of an email if the phone rings or a customer walks in etc.

Initial time for turn arounds was less than an hour until I said I wanted manifold only... Then it took awhile to respond then came back with a sassy ass you want just the manifold 600 bucks + shipping... Then when I told him I didn't require his services any longer due to his pissy fit, he told me to fuck off... That said, I'm going to make my own for less than his cost and search keyword "ozboost" and offer up manifolds for the low... But I'll prototype on my testbed first

I just left it at "I won't be told to fuck off without expectations of repercussions"... I explained that I'm spiteful and that I will paste the conversations back and forth and his response was " oh please don't LoL"

Okay, just that looks like you gave him an ultimatum just after a day. He was chatting with you on a Sunday and basically looks like he took Monday off. Telling you to fuck off wasn't very cool though. I just know the small businesses I work with here sometimes take a couple of days to get back to me.

Be that as it may... If he wanted my business he wouldn't tell me fuck off... Instead he would explain why he didn't answer in the same time frames as previously... But I didn't even need an explanation... I needed not to be told to fuck off

Oh I definitely agree with that. Pays to take the high road, especially if it's in writing.

He basically wanted to piss me off... I refused to get mad in favor of getting even... I'm sure he's an owner/operator type... I wonder if he knows what the emissions regulations are to the T, and is he in compliance? I have asked the folks at client.service@environment.gov.au to find out... He did openly talk about how he is bypassing government mandated emissions equipment for vehicles that are used on public roads.... He wanted to piss in my Cheerios... Not sure if that were a great idea

But... In my defense... I searched and searched to make sure the amount of people that actually bought his rinky dink kit were in low quantity to prepare for the backlash... I couldn't find any let alone anyone I know.. So if he disappears due to huge emissions violations fines in his country, no big deal... I wouldn't even call it a set back for the 2tr community as they seem not to be interested in the first place...

They appear to be designed for bolt on applications.... You want them welded? And to the chassis? I can weld that up without issues... But I'm not certified and can't sign your forms to pass recon with weldments on the chassis

To bolt them on i would have to drill 36 holes in my frame and that would be worse than some welds, and I'm not 100% but I think the only time you need certified welds is for SAS as I doubt the would even check to see how I have them mounted? But I probably wouldn't even add them to my recon papers since the random safety check wouldn't even care...they would just consider them side steps :fingerscrossed:

Yup, you don't really need to add the sliders to your recon paperwork. I told the recon guy that I was writing it in anyway though. He didn;t check anything.

To make it easy I would likely plug it since there are holes already there... 8d9d8f96dca23f36561b469bbb1647aa_b538690d7be0c8fcea61acb37e82e0641b6fd808.jpg
