Ok, I know we have quite a few members in the Texas Region. We don't need an alliance or anything, but we should have some kind of organization for meet-ups and such. Since, tcBob gave us this new section under regions - lets use it!!!

I am going to do a poll for an idea of where everyone is. This poll is not limited to Texans. One thing I have learned about Texans, we are a friendly bunch, and we accept just about anybody. This poll is for anyone that would like to participate in meets, swaps, trail rides, BBQ's, Holiday Celebrations, or just need help with modifications and maintenance.

So, lets find out where everyone is. We don't need you exact address (as I wouldn't recommend that on the internet), but tell us an approximation of where you are. This will allow us to gauge where the best places are for meets to get the largest turnout (don't worry - we will try to have one near you as soon as possible).

    Cheers! :proposetoast:

Size wise TX is like CA.

I can travel 4 & 5 states away and it's still less mileage than driving to various other parts of TX. ;)

July 4th we should all get together in Granbury. I don't live there but they have a fairly awesome 4th celebration on Lake Granbury, fire works, car shows and a parade. It's kind of small town but if anyone is interested we could work something out. My in-laws live there, and It is about two hours from where I live, Wichita Falls, about an hour from Dallas and three from Austin.

And Texas is 2.5x bigger than CA, so... I don't really see any comparison. As a matter of fact, I don't think you can compare any other state to Texas, in any way, shape or form. Texas is just all around better ;)

Actually TX is only 1.64 times bigger than CA.

As far as comparisons, both states have there own unique properties. Both good and bad. I would never live in CA because of the liberal slant on politics and rights as well as the ridiculous cost of living, in those places where I've visited anyway.

I don't think so, but I can look into it. I will be sure to count you in the Austin Area.

The option 'another country' lists California and North Carolina...last time I checked those were states. I could be wrong though:rolleyes:.

Canadian, what do you know? You better be careful or Texas will annex your "Country" and make it a state within Texas.
