Damn it! My wife says we don't have enough money. Too many projects going on at once. :frusty: Plus, she wants me to get new muffler to replace the one I damaged by hitting a wooden box on the highway...

Go ahead and put it on eBay. Sorry, man. :pout:

for me, the hardest part was extending the wires. I hate doing those kinds of things.

Do they mention anything about signal loss in extending the wires?

you only extend them about a foot and you use soldered connections, so I guess that's why there aren't any problems.

Twisting and taping can cause intermittent drops in voltage and undue resistance in the circuit. As the wires flex and bend from temperature and motion, the wires rub together and they can lose their connection. This can cause false readings and in a sensor situation such as this, a check engine light.

With the short amount of time that you had it in there, it probably didn't make a difference. Had it been in there through a full four seasons, you might have come across some issues.

No worries now - just food for thought on your next project - soldering is always the way to go.

To everyone else: I wasn't able to get the money together for this. You guys need to jump on it if you are looking into one of these! It is a great deal!!!

You sure that box didn't splinter off a chunk that flew up into your stock airbox from underneath gouging out a dangerous hole? I'd double check that.
