I blame Kaep for that pass. It was over his McDonalds head. Should he have caught it? Probably. But it was not an accurate throw.

The Aints killed me once again. Went out in the football pool with 5 people left and $20k up for grabs. I partly blame myself. I didn't check the injury report and probably would have not went with them if I knew Mariota was playing.

Oh yeah, and Rob Ryan should be fired.

Rumors were strong last year for firing Ryan. They should have taken care of it then.

I just rewatched the game on TV. I think the one thing Gabbert has over Kap is his decisiveness - marginally better. I saw him throw the ball as soon as he hit the back foot of his 3 or 5 step drop - something I haven't seen Kap do consistently. Quicker release too. And Gabbert is better at throwing to his check down - both more frequently and more accurate than Kap.

Gabbert didn't get sacked (1st time this season for Niners) and most of it was due to ATL not having a pass rush at all, but the times there was pressure he either checked it down, stepped up in the pocket to pass, or ran. Either way, the real test will be the next 2 weeks after the bye (@ SEA, vs AZ) when the pressure comes, bc that's where he's always sucked.

I still don't think either Gabbert or Kap are gonna be the starters next year. If they one is, that'd be a damn shame. I see Kap starting for another team and doing well. And I see Gabbert being the backup next year since he's still under contract

I agree about Kaep. I think if he gets some instruction from a good coach and a good OC he has potential. He just needs to be coached by someone who knows how to capitalize on his advantages and keep him from reverting to panic mode.

His accuracy isn't bad, and if he does it at the right moment he can outrun a lot of defensive players. But I don't think Tomsula knows how to keep him from going into flight mode as soon as his pocket starts to collapse.

Dion Lewis getting injured makes me mad. The Pats whole game Sunday made me mad.

They'll stick somebody else into that slot and adapt. It's what the Pats do. Bolden's not Lewis, but he has skills the Pats can utilize.

    Ouch.
Hope it was worth getting beat up for that win over the Broncos...

He didn't look healthy for most of that game, either.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
The head case (concussion prone) Welker joined the Rams this morning. Not sure if it is a smart move for him to take the field again.

He'll do well with the Rams, it's his life he's fucking up if he gets hurt, why should we care? He knows better than all of us do. Just sad that his wife and he just had a kid not too long ago, and he can't put football aside for the sake of spending time with his family, which, with a couple good hits, could have to watch him eat his meals through a straw before his daughter graduates high school...

True, but three of them were TD's and he ran in another one.

I'm not a one to pile on about New England, but I thought this was funny. Forgive the grammar, I didn't make this.
