I have a 2009 DCSB and looking for a better exhaust note for my truck. I'm overwhelmed with all the options there are in the different types of mufflers. Opening and exhaust sizes, different in & out location. All I am looking for is a direct replacement for my stock muffler.

Could someone tell me which Magnaflow Muffler would be best for a direct replacement of the stock muffler? Pipe size, Location in/out, dimensions, product number? HALP?

I think OP want a just a muffler not a full cat back. OP, measure your current muffler and see what universal mufflers are roughly the same size. Cut, weld and done! I believe OEM piping is 2.25-2.5?? Now if you want an increase in power/torque....... Noise, less noise.... Anything custom needs more info
