And that was one of my earlier postings, bitching about the poor keyboard and mappings support. I use the arrow keys to move, but I can't remap other keys (such as the ones to move the crafting menus around)

 

Yea, especially if it's one of the higher clockspeed/OC's models

 

Haha sweet! I have not found a button that rotates the objects in increments as of yet. There has got to be a way.

Can you rotate objects in all axis? 360* in increments when placing?

 

I think it's the trigger buttons that I swore I was pressing last night but didn't do anything.

Edit: That did rotate objects but only in 90* increments. There is a button that you press in addition to the trigger apparently. I just don't know what button that is.

 

No only the y axis that i know of. And there arent increments, you just hold the R2 trigger till it spins where you want it.

Ahh. Apologies. I must have missed that post. The only thing I changed was swapping L-ALT with G, so I wasn't aware the keyboard wasn't 100% customizable. I'm sure they'll patch that when enough people complain.

 

Probably had a bug and restart, lol.

How you liking the game so far?

 

I'm almost to level 4, work keeps getting in the way. Hopefully this weekend I can make some progress.

 

Equal parts enjoyment and frustration at not understanding all the controls / crafting but thats pretty normal for me on a new game

What I really need is a bit more time on it

 

love the game... the settlement aspect is so freaking deep. The crafting is awesome. Someone stole my power suit in Sanctuary. Remove the fusion core out of your suit to keep it from getting jacked... level 20 and my guy is a beast already. Also find Swan and kill him. Hes in boston. no spoilers but you get a BA drop from him. Also if you want the cryolator earlier than your supposed to get it... go in the vault you came out of with your dog and have him search in the overseers room. Youre welcome.

Can they jack the power armor if its on the stand? Thats where i have mine placed and it hasnt moved yet.

I already got the cryolator thanks to kotaku dont care for it too much though.

 

I had mine on the stand and it was stolen when sanctuary was attacked. I even cleared the guys out successfully. I didnt know until after the fact that you have to take the fusion core out. I havent used the power suit for anything other than when you get it early-game. But i have no idea where to find another one... I have plenty of fusion cores for it too now which sucks and i have enough to do decent upgrades to the suit, yet no suit...

 

Well shit...Guess ill go remove that right away. Did they jack stuff from your workshop as well?

Can you not look at the map and find it?
